This new tennis court facility will house four (4) USTA regulation tennis courts with additional space allocated to restrooms, offices, storage and an entrance/lobby. A pre-engineered building will be sized with 125'-0 clear span and 35'-0 clear height at the tennis nets.

The new building's exterior faade will be designed to complement the adjacent campus buildings. Sight lines, from the adjacent baseball field and football stadium will also drive the new building's exterior finishes.

The project delivery was a design/build method with the Owner selecting BEI as the A/E and Turner Construction as the contractor, with a guaranteed maximum price. BEI, Turner and Wayne State University will be functioning as a unified team to deliver the project in 168 days.
