The fabric air-supported structure is designed to contain a NCAA regulation size football field (207'-0" x 407'-0" x 75'-0 high). In addition, the University will be using the facility for baseball and golf practices.

In order to accommodate community soccer leagues, the field can be reconfigured into four fields. The building also includes a 2,500 sq. ft. Welcome Center that houses a general lobby space and restrooms and serves as a controlled entry for public events.

The project also includes 100 new parking spaces, site lighting and access walkways.

The project delivery approach was a modified Design/CM approach with the Owner selecting BEI as the A/E and Turner Construction as the Construction Manager, with a guaranteed maximum price. The Design/CM team was assembled to provide fast-track design and construction with control over the budget. The project is projected to be delivered ahead of schedule and under the GMP.
